I have a TSU7000NG and I have spent much time programming it to get it exactly where I want it. One of the remotes I have programmed into it is a Bell Express VU (Sat dish). It seems that the "Info" button must be held for about 1 second at least, or the receiver will not respond to it. All other codes are fine and execute with a quick press. I have used the discreet code built into the 7000, and I have also tried using a learned code, but I still see the same issue. Is there some way to get the code to run longer with a single button press on the remote? I have tried copying and pasting the code in the IR code window, but NG says the code is invalid.

If your remote does not automatically insert delays between steps of a macro, there is a classic way to create a macro that mimics a long button press. A long button press gives you the initial codes that come out of the remote, then some section of the codes keeps repeating. To duplicate this in a macro,
learn part A: learn the code the regular way
learn part B: cover the emitter of the factory remote, push and hold the button, hit LEARN on the Pronto, then uncover the emitter on the factory remote. This way the Pronto will only see the repeating section.
Make a macro of A followed by as many Bs as needed to work. I first did this with a JVC projector that needed two seconds of POWER, and eleven repeats of B worked perfectly every time.
I understand there are conditions where the 7000 automatically inserts delays between macro steps, and there is at least one thread in this forum describing what to do to get rid of that delay.
Good luck!

did you try learning the code and pressing for a longer period of time on the sending remote's button?
