The title pretty much sums it up. I have a two page or so Word document listing the issues I have with Wizz.it. Things like "If you make a mistake editing a macro, you are stuck because there is no CANCEL button for that window."

And worse.

Where do I send this so it is not just a long post here? Where someone might respond to it?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Ernie,

The place to send your questions and critiques is Dave Stonebrenner. He is the guru at Marantz service. IF you want his number e-mail me and I will be happy to give it to you. I do not have his e-mail at this time but I sure that he will discuss the matter with you. I have had to program 6 of the 5400's and I am really not having fun yet. Each one seems to have a quirk or two and it goes without saying that I hate the wizz-it program. The touchscreen set-up program worked great except for the delay on download but now I am pining for that old program to return to me!

Just been programming for a few hours and so far I prefer Wizzit than PENG

I've been trough PENG last december as I programmed about 8 TSU-3000 before we could not get anymore and I remember the assels I went trough

Hang in there you should end up prefering Wizzit to the predecessor as I'm starting to

Stephane,
wait till you are looking at a macro in the macro edit screen

you make a slight mistake

and you realize whoever wrote this program is not familiar enough with WINDOWS to put a CANCEL box there! All you can do is click the X in the upper right, which ALSO cancels in WINDOWS, but in Wizzit that button accepts your changes.

Ernie

P.S. The doc file is on the way to you. It is imperfect as it contains information as well as bitching, but maybe it will help....
