I have a long pause, 7 seconds, after the "Watch" button is pressed on my home screen. This is to allow the TV to warm up before selecting inputs. I would like to have the "Watch" button jump to a "Please Wait" page while the pause is happening, then automatically jump to the next page with sources of video (sat, dvd, etc) when the pause is over. Is there any way to automate the second jump without having to select a button again? Or, barring that, the "Watch" button turns green when pressed. Is there a way to make it stay green during the pause. I afraid the long pause will confuse new users, as it appears that nothing is happening during that period. Thanks.

You can create multiple jumps in a single macro. There is no way for a button to "stay pressed" during a macro. The only way to accomplish that would be to jump to another page where the button is green and then jump to the next page. The please wait page is the most intuitive.

You can't make your watch button stay green due to the TSU7000 design. The older TSU6000 and RC9200s kept the pressed image until the macro execution was complete. The TSU7000 does not.
However you can do the multiple Page Jumps to accomplish simple animation. To do this, your intermediate page must have at least 1 button on it with at least one action in the Action List (Delay 100 works great).
Here's what the Macro Looks like.
Issue Pause Jump to Intermediate Page Wait 7 seconds Jump to Final Page
The key is having the button (can be 1x1 pixel in size and white) that contains at least 1 action.

just thought of this (better then white if it works) a transparent button, then it can be greater then 1x1 without it being pressable

Anthony is right.
My (1x1 pixel in white) corresponds to my RC9200 setup where a button is required and most of my page backgrounds are white. However, if you don't want to mess with transparency, pick a color that's the same as your background.

Thanks all! I actually put a larger button right in the middle of the page that has text that says "Please Wait". I made another page that uses the "pressed" state of the button as it's bitmap and jump between that and the nonpressed state page with second pauses in between. The effect is a button that matches the rest of my theme, and flashes slowly with the message 'please wait' then jumps to the next page at the proper timing. Kewl! Now to tackle that SNL stuff.

I got this to work w/o the button. I just had some text and then jumped to the page. The page displayed and the rest worked.
So I have something like this in my .pcf for the animations. Each page in the executing device contains some text on the background and a progress bar.
[Executing] [Executing 1] [Executing 2] [Executing 3] ...
Then in my devices which require a pause I do the following: Command 1 Jump to executing 1 Command 2 Jump to executing 2
etc. And the progress bar is animated on the display.

Do all of these things work on all of the remote models included in this forum? Foot did not mention which model he has, and Lyndel assumed, I guess, that he/she has a 7000 and the answer flowed from that assumption. When I read the original post, I remembered that before the NG, Marantzes could do multiple jumps in a macro and Prontos could not.
How does that stand now? And foot, which model do you have?

all have the same features. The distinction in the earlier Prontos happened because different companies decided to spend the $ on different solutions and that brought a differentiation over time

And now the Prontos and the Marantzes work identically despite earlier differentiation?
When I posted something about the 5400 in the Pronto section, Daniel sent me an email telling me to post here because the 5400 is an NG. I assume everybody knows that, so addresses Prontos and Marantzes differently, unless the features are the same.
I guess I should assume that everybody is NOT talking about Marantzes unless they say they are, right? N'est-ce pas?

I have not used a Marantz, so not 100% sure, but I have not heard of any differences. When the Marantz 5000 came out it was exactly the same as the Pronto 1000, it was latter that the Pronto added beeps and timers and the Marantz added special jumps. The word was that features that were added to the base would be added to the company that paid the development cost.
The NG remotes are a new platform and a new design, so all the features (like ts-1000/RC-5000) are there at the beginning it is after this point that things might diverge
