Have you seen this thread?
[Link: remotecentral.com]It includes a message from Philips acknowledging problems with PPENG. Hopefully things will stabilize with the next release.
Indeed we have seen the ProntoProEditNG software
causing some problems when editing large configuration
files on some systems. With the ProntoProEditNG
software editing large configurations, that is
configurations with lots of images in it, the
software will require a lot of system resources.
On some systems the operating system and programs/services
running in the background may not allow the system
to free enough resources for the ProntoProeditNG
software to handle a large configuration.
So to enhance the performance and stability of
the ProntoProEditNG software when editing large
configurations, it is best to terminate as many
background programs/services as possible. This
will free additional system resources, and will
allow a better handling of your configuration.
