Update 4/26: Called Philips. They said to send it in with a check for $209! The only saving grace is that if they cannot fix it, they replace the whole unit. Man this just bites. Anybody wanna buy a 7000?
Previous message:
Man this is not good. After all this time programming it (and NOT EVEN USING IT YET) my son (2yr old) step on the screen when it was on the couch. cracked it. AUGH! How much is something like this to get fixed?
A few hours later... K, now that I calmed down I see people replaced the 3000 screen for about $100. Which isn't too bad I guess. But has anybody needed the 7000 replaced yet? Damn. I can still feel the pain. Its like building a new car and on the day you start it up and drive it to the tracks, someone hits you. Augh...
