Hi:

I have managed to get everything to work with my 7000 by learning IR codes from my older 4DTV 920 (Motorola/General Instruments) BUD sat. reciever.

EXCEPT the number "1" digit on the keypad - it "learns" but does not work. Does anyone have the dicrete codes for this?

Thanks!

Bill McL

That's not called a "discrete". You just want the ordinary code of the "1" digit in 4DTV.

You probably can copy it from any CCF file for 4DTV. I have it somewhere in JP1 format that I know how to convert (but not handy at the moment).

I'm currious what went wrong in learning it. Do you know how to view Pronto Hex for a learned signal in ProntoEdit? If so, view that learned signal and copy/paste the Pronto Hex into a reply here. I might be able to explain why it learned wrong and I probably can deduce correct Pronto Hex from the bad learn more easily than I could look it up from files that were on my main computer before its recent death (many complaints about Dell support).
