I need descreet on/off codes for my JVC XV-600BK DVD player. Thank you in advance for any help.

Try the Play button as the power on, and the power toggle as the power off. Some CD/DVD/VCR machines function in this way. My JVC CD player did not have discrete power and this work around fixed it easily. *Note, obviously for a power off command you would just include both the play command and the power toggle command in the macro, to ensure the state of the DVD player.

I can confirm this on my JVC DVD Player... I use this fix and works great!

I use this too - but I had to add a delay between the 'Play' and 'Off' for when the DVD was already off...
