OK, well I am an old fart whose near vision is crappy, although I can watch my Screenplay 7200 just fine w/o glasses at about 13 feet. I got a TSU3000 and it worked fine but with the dim monochrome backlight it was very hard to see at normal user distances. I have exchanged it for a 7000 and am delighted with that both in terms of features and viewing.

I would stongly suggest the 7000 over the 3000 for folks with presbyopia!

Take Care

I agree with you 100%. Some people though only will go monochrome. I use artwork from the TSU1000 to increase readability. The simpler graphics are easier to read
