Purchased my TSU-3000 the first week they came out. Always worked great. Bought new componets and want to add the devices to my remote and no longer works.
I've E-mail Philips Tech support 3 times only to get solutions specificly for the TSU-7000 that don't apply to the TSU-3000.
I've tried the old and new ProntoEditNG SW on seven different machines. Ranging from Win98 through XP Pro. (Win98SE, ME,Win2000, XP Home, XP Pro).
The device when attached ALWAYS detects as a HID with the description of the Seiko Inklink handwritting device. I owned an Inklink 8 months ago and used the ProntoEditNG upload feature on the same laptop as the Inklink. Havn't tried to upload since. I no longer own that laptop or any machine that has ever had the Inklink attached.
Could the TSU-3000 of been updated and now thinks it's the Seiko device??? Unlikly, but all tests prove this to be true. With no factory hard reset to clear the config, or any help from Philips support I am stuck. Has anyone heard of this?
I am considering retiring my 3 Pronot's for the Harmonoy SST-688 product due to lack of support. Nothing like spending $1,600 on 3 remotes to not get any support. This is not acceptable.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
Thanks in advance! Fred

You haven't actually said what is not working. What specifically are you trying to do and what happens when you try?
