I have programed a few TSU 7000 and on all of them the IR. is slow. Heres an example. If I enter any 3 digit command (channel 125) it will only see the first two digits then the cable box will time out. All my codes are clean and I am using the latest Firmware. Thanks Zinon

What delays are you using between the digits? Do you have a custom "transmit activity" icon which is slowing it down?

Zinon: Are you talking about macros or during normal use?
If during normal operation, then I'm wondering if the problem isn't perhaps that YOU aren't too fast - and the remote isn't getting enough time to send each command.

Peter, I am not using any delays. Just an IR. code's that I learned from the cable box remote. All my macros work fine. The problem happens when I go to the Cable keypad. There is a repeater system involved, But works perfectly fine with the cable box remote. I have 3 almost identical systems in this apartment (Marantz receiver DVD, Motorola HD cable box, 1 room has a 63 inch Fujitsu the other two rooms have 50 inch Fujitsu's. I replaced the TSU 7000s with Marantz RC 9200s and all works fine. Daniel, I think that I am pushing them fairly quickly. Let's say I want to select Channel 153. the cable box will change to channel 15 then a few seconds later it will change to 3. I Had both the 9200 and 7000 pointed to the cable box the 9200 worked every time and the 7000 almost never worked. Thanks Zinon

LOL. Sounds like you have waaaay too much money. How about donating me one of those HD sets?
Now, back to business...
Are the IR codes you learned clean? When you upgraded to the 7000, were they migrated to possibly an IR database code?
How about posting the content of one of the 7000 Keypad IR codes and the corresponding IR Code frtom the 9200 for comparison?
Thanks, Lyndel

The delay between button presses during macros is quite slow, i.e. 0.25sec between. see: [Link: remotecentral.com]Quote from Philips: Indeed there is a bit of internal delay on the ProntoProNG. We are looking into speeding things up slightly with the new firmware for the ProntoProNG that will be released in the near future. In the meantime you may want to try changing the codes slightly to try and work around the problem a bit. (please store the original learned codes as well for use after a firmware update) So you might have to wait for the next firmware release, as do I.
