Hello,

Like Daniel Tonks ccf or pcf, I would like to draw a floor plan with light and insert it into my pcf file.

With wich software can I this draw floor plan ?
Maximum size or other ?...

Like everything in my file, it was done in CorelDRAW. Corel isn't really meant for that, but I tend to use it for everything. This information likely won't help you, but perhaps others can suggest something easier to use...

I used a program called room arranger some time ago to plan out my house and it allows you to save any floor plan as a png or bmp file, "voila" instant pronto compatible file to import in my case.

Another good tool for floorplans is Microsoft Visio.
It has a bunch of useful pre-defined shapes (sofas, chairs tables etc.)under it's office layout stencil. It also suppports saving in .bmp format.

I just finished installing 12... my PCF file was created with 11, and that floorplan was originally done in 8. More interesting shading was added to it in 10.

I use visio. I need the plans for wiring diagrams and room setup, so then I just copy into paint what I need
...

For those that don't want to spend a asmall fortune on Visio, OpenOffice the freeware office suite has a function-alike. openiffice.org is the URL
