Hi -

I'm having a devil of a time getting the 7000 to learn the IR codes from the Pioneer TiVo remote - it just doesn't seem to like them - it will accept a code, but then it doesn't work properly.

Does anyone have the codes? Thanks in advance.

The Pioneer uses the "peanut" style remote, right?

Have you tried any of the pcfs that have "regular" TiVo codes? I'm pretty sure (although not 100% positive) that they're the same.

I have those codes having programmed them into a couple different remotes for customers. I have them on a Marantz RC3200 .ncf file and one on a Marantz RC5200 .ccf file. For cutting and pasting into an NG file, I like opening the file that contains the codes I need on Touch Screen Setup and simultaneously paste them into the IR edit screen of my NG/Wizz.It. Pain in the ass, but I have far more confidence in the codes that I have been using tried and true in Touch Screen Setup than anything that I have been getting in the NG series remotes.

E-mail me and I will send you the file.

Are they really all the same? I need to know cause Im ordering extra original TiVo remotes for a system. The machine they are for is the new RCA DVR40. The remotes I am finding are advertised for a Hughes. Will it Work? They look exactly the same.
Are they really all just TiVo remotes?
