Tintruder,

Might you share your MCE code spreadsheet with me as well? It will save me some time for sure!

Much thanks for offering it and perhaps it could be posted to the files area like some of the Sony code spreadsheets...

Chris,

I would but your email in your profile gets kicked back as user unknown.

I submitted my MCE Codes spreadsheet to Daniel for inclusion in the FILES area. Should show up soon.

In any case, remember all the methods to combat the dreaded Toggle Codes....

1. Older irbus.sys(?) from MCE2002 (doesn't always work)

2. Registry edit to turn debounce from 1 to 0...(can lead to odd behavior on some keys depending upon how remote is programmed)

3. Toggle by sending "do nothing" code after desired code. "clr" (good except following numbers for channels as it clears the number you entered).

4. Jump between duplicate codeset pages in device after every keypress. (no hard buttons)

5. Jump between duplicate codeset DEVICES between button presses. Includes hard buttons.

Good Luck!

Hey, Tintruder... sorry to arrive at the game late, but I found one you missed on your spreadsheet. Code 80 will take you to the RADIO screen directly... you probably don't have a PVR350 card in your machine, else you would have noticed that one.

Could someone post a link to the section the spreadsheet is in? I've been looking all over for it for the last several minutes, and can't seem to find it.

TIA. Jason.

Hmm...well, I found a couple of things (cool that you can search the files section).

[Link: remotecentral.com]

First, there is an Excel file of the Windows MCE 2004 codes, but does this apply to the 2005 version?

Second, there is a MXD file with the 2005 codes, but I'm not sure this is of any use to me, as I have an MX-1000...

In the Excel file, what is the difference between the two sets of hex codes? Is this the alternating code used by the remote for each command?

Also, if I were going to use these codes in Girder, do I really type that hex code into the code on Girder? It just seems abnormally long for a code. Normally, most codes I see on Girder are no more than 10-15 hex digits.
