I have 2 galleries I'm trying to merge. The first one is around 11 Megs, the second, 7 Megs. I have enabled gallery creation mode and selected the right remote, and version.

Both galleries work and show up perfect in Gallery and Non Gallery mode (seperately) unmerged. But when merging them together this is what happens...

In Non gallery mode (editing)

All panels are thee and in correct order but ALL panel names are jumbled garbage. Attempting to rename these panels with a re-save UNSUCCESSFULLY makes the changes to the renamed panels.

In Gallery Mode

All panels are there, but not in the correct order due the the fact that it's organizing the panels by the jumbled garbage which I can't rename!

I know a workaround is to view each gallery separately, but I want to combine them.

If anyone knows if/how to fix this please help.

Thanks in advance

( Thanks for pointing out the FAQ part Mike, but is has nothing to do with my question. My galleries are already large, work fine separated, and I have no concern about modifiying the original one )

Still trying to figure out why this is happening. It seems that I can make my gallery up to 17 Megs without jumbling the panel names. I cannot use the full 30 megs provided by the Pronto ini tool.

Anyone have any input on this?

don't forget that the 30 Megs is artificially put there. Maybe PE has a limit that is less the 18 Megs.

Anthony,

You could be right. Can anyone confirm this?

Exactly what do you have in an 18mb gallery? Must be impossible to find anything! :-)

I can't confirm any specific limits, but knowing how ProntoProEdit had trouble with any large files on its initial release (and I'm talking >2mb or so), and how Touch Screen Setup couldn't even load my Galaxy game up until the latest release, I'm sure there's a limit somewhere and that it's fairly low.

I can get around 16 megs before it corrupts the panel names. I guess that's the limit.
