How do I turn on/off/dim 2 lights by pressing one button. That is I would like to turn on 2 lights by pressing one button ..and not pressing button for light 1, then on, then button for light 2, then on etc. Any help would be appreciated. I have a TS1000 and all the X10 setup required.
Eddie.

The obvious is to set the code on the two lites to the same setting ie a-1. The other solution if the settings of the lamps are to remain different would, I believe using a macro that sends both commands consecutively with a delay in between. The macro would be one button

If you do the macro, first send the two addresses, then the on or off command. In that way both units will act in unison. Piece of cake. Very pleasing when dimming. The two units must be on the same house code since commands are addressed to a house code not a unit code. Addressing selects which units on a specific house code will respond to the next command.
