Well, I've had this CD player for almost ten years and it never came with a remote control. However, it seems to respond to some codes, but I'd really like to know some IR codes for PLAY, STOP, PAUSE, SKIP BACK, SKIP FWD, REW SRCH, FWD SRCH, ....

Does anyone with a similar Sony CD player have a CCF file (or IR codes) that you could send me?

Have you checked the file area? There's 5 Sony CD players listed in there... Sony doesn't change their code structure very often, so they should work.
