how do i clear all memory from my pronto?

The FAQ in your manual will explain how to reset your Pronto. In the setup menu, second panel tap revert. This will reset the pronto to factory default. If you mean that you would like to clear the IR database: you can't.

There is no real concept of clearing the memory.

If you have too much in your CCF, then delete what you don't need and download it to your Pronto.

tommy if you are using ProntoEdit then Peter is right.
If you are doing the programming directly on the remote, then when you have filled up the memory it keeps a copy of things you removed until it needs the extra space.
