I am looking for discrete codes for an Hitachi 53fdx01b. (I guess if you have some codes from other Hitachi models... it might work too)

Thanks

Sorry, there are no discrete input or power codes for Hitachi TVs. You *can* simulate discrete inputs as "CHAN+" will always return to the tuner (use that as a starting point).

Actually, with the FDX01B, chan+ doesn't quite take care of it because of the Ant B input. This how I kludged mine (43FDX01B):

The normal input cycle is Ant B -> Ant A -> Video 1 -> Video 2 -> Video 3.

Entering channel 03 will take you to Ant A unless you are on Ant B, in which case it leaves you on Ant B. So what you do is enter channel 03 (which will take you to Ant A or Ant B) and press input (which will put you on Video 1 if you were on Ant A or take you to Ant A if you were on Ant B). Then enter channel 03 to anchor the TV on Ant A (if you were on Ant A, you'll stay on Ant A and if you were on Video 1, you'll change to Ant A). From there the number input button presses is known to get the TV to a specific input.

Thanks, it is a very good starting point.
