I inadvertantly got a drop of industrial crazy glue on my Pronto screen. In wiping it off, it of course smeared. Instead of one thick 1/4" diameter drip, I had a 1/4" wide smear about 1" long.

I decided to try some paint polishing compound. I used Griotts Garage Machine Polish #2 on an old cotton rag. I took nearly an hour, but the glue is completely gone. As a side not, I only used one finger, but I applied pretty good pressure. Looks like a have a relatively touch screen.

Hi Joe

I gest you where lucky this time. Try some protection on the screen to prevent futur accident. I have found some and they work really well, Maybe you can give them a try.
