Hi...
I am searching the new PE2.0 Soft! Can anyone send me to my e-mail adress?
Thanx

It will not do you any good. You must wait for the downloadable version to come out. The version that ships with TSU2000's WILL NOT work on TS-1000 models.

Actually, CCFs created with V2 do work on TS1000s as long as you don't try to use any of the inbuilt database codes.
There is also an option in the Save As dialogue to specifically store as 1.05 format. I suspect that just strips out any references to inbuilt codes.

However, why bother? About the only reason to upgrade to v2.0 will be to load the current firmware and fix some of the existing bugs -- and you can't do that.

Some people might find it a little easier to use. There might also be some bug fixes in ProntoEdit (as opposed to the firmware).
I'm only using it to understand what the differences are, and as I have found out in the last few days, to know enough to be able to answer questions for all the new guys out there.
Incidentally, there seems to be a big increase in postings lately. Today I have come in to work (it's Monday morning here), and for the first time ever I have had to go to the 4th page to catch up with posts since I finished work on Friday. Usually I only have to go a few entries into the second page. I guess lots of people have been waiting for the 2000 to arrive.

Must be! I was told by Philips last week that the downloadable version should be out "very very soon", so I'd suggest waiting the extra few days... :-)
