I've looked everywhere and tried everything I can think of to get my new Dish Network 6000 receiver to accept the IR codes from my Pronto. I've downloaded several ccfs for the 6000 with the IR codes but none of them will work. What setting on the 6000 might be wrong that keeps it from recognizing the IR commands? Is there something to change in a service menu?

Thanks for any pointers. This is getting VERY frustrating.

It should be in the normal menus, but does that receiver have a setting for IR/RF?

Some DISH models have a switch in the back next to the UHF atenna to change it to IR, some have it in the set-up menu
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestions. I found the receiver needed to be on remote address 1 for the IR functionality to work.
