Hello all,
I'm new to the ProntoEdit scene... I have a TSU2000, with ProntoEdit 2.0 for one day now...
I have managed to download some great Icon/Button/Image files from this file area and others. However, they are all incorparated into a *.ccf files. I open a gigantic *.ccf file, see a button or icon I'd like to use. The usual situation is this: I am in the edit area and trying to select or change an icon for an item after selecting the "properties" section of the device or macro.(it defaults to a *.bmp and *.bmp is the only option) However, I can not get the image from the *.ccf file into the same screen.
I can not cut and paste it, I can not export it, I can not import it?? How do I get those images separated out of that *.ccf file and into a *.bmp format?
What's the secret?
Thanks in advance, TTFN Tim

Thanks for the reply Anthony, however, I think the CTRL & DRAG only works if the images are in the same CCF file, at least that is the only time I can get it to work.
And I had read the FAQ's about how to move icons and could not get it to work in Version 2.0. However, after re-trying last night I did, one time, get an icon copied out of one CCF into another CCF. It seems tempermental at best.
But something you started to say, about saving the icon as a *.bmp, how is that done? I couldn't locate a reference to that function in the FAQ's?
Is there a utility that extracts icons into *.bmp's? I have searched but haven't located one?
Thanks again all... TTFN Tim

there is (at least it works with V1.5) the decompiler. (if it is anything like 1.5)if you dblclk on the button one of the tabs should have the icon on it (it used to be under "Active icons" and for each place "selected" and "unselected" there were three buttons "Load", "save" and "delet". load would load a bmp into Pronto, Save would save Pronto icon as bmd on PC and delete would remove the icon from the Pronto.

Extracting an icon bitmap to a file is different in V2.
1. Double click on the button to get is properties. 2. Click the Icons tab. 3. Right click on the icon you want and select Save.

Thanks Peter and Anthony, it sure wasn't intuitive to me, but it is there just as you said... (-:
Thanks again, TTFN Tim
