I use ProntoEdit V1.05 with windows 2000 pro, once in a while (often)the program crashes and reports an error like:

ProntoEdit.exe has generated an error and will be closed by Windows.......etc.

Versions of Pronto:
Sys v 3.62
App v 4.85

What's the problem??????

Please help me out!!!

Thanx Robbert

I get the same thing when repeatedly opening CCF files in the same instance of ProntoEdit. My solution? Only use an instance of ProntoEdit once. If you want to load a CCF--do it in a new instance of ProntoEdit.

I found the same thing as Robert. I don't know what it is, but I make sure to save often!

Problem could be a GeoForce issue with the Windows 2000--common problem/many threads.

I get the same problem when opening many panels of the same CCF. Using a TNT2 Ultra it doesn't look like a GeForce issue.

No similar problems here -- are you all using 2000?
