Next dumb question:
I have a Proceed AVP that has a very basic remote, but can teach programmable remotes by sending from the display area of the Preamp. The thing is, it only seems to send the IR string once, then you have to wait until it will send the command again. So to send the same IR string 3 times takes about 3 seconds. By then the RC-5000i is timing out of the learn cycle, and FAILing.
I see that there are some CCFs out there with some AVP codes. Does any one know how these codes were obtained, or any ideas on how to capture these codes from the Preamp?
