I've had my pronto about 1 month, and I like it very much, it has worked flawlessly, and it does everything I want it to do, However, one day the screen became garbled with black lines and would not respond. I removed the battery pack and replaced it and this seemed to cure the problem, however, now I notice a faint Buzzing sound from the unit when the backlight is on, has anyone else had this problem?

Kelley,
The buzzing is normal and it actually did that since day one, you probably just didn't notice it. All LCD backlights do the same ype of noise and in fact Pronto is quieter than most. On the lines on the display, I loaded a new Pronto the other day with a known good application with lots of graphics and it produced a rarbled screen every time I pressed a button to take it to a graphic page. Turned out that the Pronto while brand new out of the box did not have the most recent application loaded(from teh tools menu). Once I loaded that, all was fine. Just an idea that may also be true on yours?

I've had a couple of instances where I had to re-program a soft button in order to get rid of the screen garbling that happened when I activated that button.
