I was looking in this forum for a way to hide devices from the device bar and when I found you can't I came up with this-
If you put Several spaces after your device names in Pronto Edit eg "TV" becomes "TV "
The device bar looks empty !
If you put some text at the end of the spaces eg "TV Simon" on all your devices, then Simon appears in the device bar no matter what device is selected !

You can also give it a blank name (with no text)

Plus either way, it does not eliminate the menu or choices, it just makes the menu harder to use (since you cannot see what you are picking)
