Does anyone know if the Pronto Remote works with IR Repeaters.
I have the Niles IRP2.
Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

We use Xantech which is probably very close in overall design to your Niles and they work fine.

I use the IRP2+ and it works great with my Pronto while driving 7 devices through 7 microflashers(IRC2). I don't know the difference between the IRP2+ and the IRP2, however.
BTW, the only application that I can not get to work with the IRP2+ is getting my CD Jukebox (Sony 400 Disc CDPM555ES) to talk back to my two-way remote (to download CD Memo data from the Jukebox into the remote). I have no problem, however, getting my 2-way remote to talk to my CD Jukebox through the IRP2+. I have found the two way remote to be useless anyway since I have my Prono programmed with all of my CDs individually accessible. Good luck.

I use the simple One-4-All IR repeaters and they work ok. This system allows for multiple transmitters to the one receiver, although I suspect you can have multiple receivers as well.

The difference between the IRP 2+ and the Irp 2 is the plus has the ability to display status.

Yup the One for All work fine with me. I also have info from them that you can plug in Xantec repeaters into the jack on the reciever of the OFA.

Do repeaters like the PowerMid pose any timing problems when running macros under the Pronto? I think I've seen someone mention this before. Do all macros run flawlessly nomatter where you are located without having to put in any delays?
I'm thinking of getting similar repeaters but I need to know what I'm up against cause I have some long macros.
Thanks Peter

Xantech works great but I have found in some instances it helps to mount the emitter away from the I/R eye, like on the glass of a cabinet or suspend it in front of some components, not directly on the component. This is only if I am having problems with macros. Don't ask me why but it seems to work.

I have a Xantech unit, and it works great. However, I am now thinking of getting a wireless unit like the Powermind to control my equipment which is behind a cabinet door and currently controlled by the Xantech system. Is there a good way to interface from the Powermind receiver, or similar unit, into the Xantech system, maybe through the contol block somehow? Or do I have to have my Xantech IR receiver in line of site of my powermind receiver?
