I'm interested to know how many Pronto owners are in Australia. We can form a Pronto Downunder Club. :-)

I certainly paid quite a fortune and waited quite a moment to get my pronto all the way downunder, it's great. Still looking for mitsubishi TV on/off code though, the one for larger set posted here didn't work with mine.

Hmmm...two people for a Pronto Club...Guess we won't be booking a function room at the Regent...
Did you get yours from Q Audio too?

I hope to be one soon if I can find one at a competitive price. I am not going pay $399 shipped to Australia; I might wait for the Marantz RC5000. Marantz importers might have the foresight to import it here.

John,
From reliable sources, the Pronto will be about AUD$900 when it is available here in Australia. Marantz will be more, simply because it's Marantz. US$399 at a good exchange rate, is not bad, considering that you get it in 3-4 days.
Like I said elsewhere, check out J&R, I think they have a cheaper unit price...just have to find out how much they charge for shipping.

I paid US$399 including UPS shipping (4-5 days) from QAudio, AU$200 import duty, add up to be around AU$840.

I picked one up earlier in the year with charger from Q Audio while I was in Boston. Great service from these guys. Looks like a few exist down under.
