I have used the pronto edit with great suscesss in setting up my home theater. Works great. However, in Pronto Edit I cannot "alt Drag" button to change apprearence of another button. In fact, if I hold the alt key and click on any button it does not get the "blue square" everyone talks about. Nothing happens. I have ver 1.05. Can anybody help? All else in Pront edit works fine, great softwre!

Can't say much besides that's exactly how it works here -- hold alt, then click and drag a button. When dragging the word "ICONS" should appear below the blue outline.

Thanks. Very Wierd. I tried re-installing, but same thing. It has got to be soemthing simple since all other aspects of the program work, but this one has really got me.

Wow, tried the alt-drag on my laptop and works fine. So must be my desk top, but have never had any problems like this on my desk top. Oh well, that problem is for another forum!

Oh man I'm pissed off! That Alt key functionality is awesome.
Too bad I changed all my button icons the hard way yesterday!

Figured out my problem! This may help some other people. If you are using "GURU" ( a windows TSR program that connects to the internet for looking up spelling, meaning etc of any word - a really nice program for free), it must be disabled before using the alt function. And me going out and buying a new keyboard.
