Has anyone created an icon for the PS2 yet? I want a device icon like the ones on Daniels homepage. I have seen the Dreamcast but would like one for the PS2. Anyone?

I'm in the process of Modifying the N64 Icon to look like a PS2, if that interests you.

Has anyone got any IR codes for the Playstation 2 yet?

I do, but you still need the IR receiver connected to your PS2 to use it.

I should add that I have a Saitek remote for my PS2.

Arthur, did your Pronto learn the Saitek codes without any problems?

I got a Gen-X Commando, and I've got problems learning clean enough codes.

Hi Daniel,

Congratulations for your wonderful remote site. Then, PS2 is going to be a very successful station (just starting in France), and because its remote feature will be only via third party products, I suggest you to create a specific page that relates all of them, with maybe future reviews and at least links to web sites. With a possible future addition of some CCFs dedicated to the PS2.

Cheers, Pierre

Tony, I just tested it after reading your message and I'm happy to report that it works great!

The only problem is that the receiver doesn't have a "pass-thru" feature. I means that you lose one of your controller ports when you use the DVD remote. When will Sony wake up?

I can't tell from the photograph if it's got a pass-thru or not. So I'm guessing you read that somewhere? I hope you're wrong (I'm crossing my fingers)!

There are third party pass-through receivers..

There are third party pass-thru receivers, but they also come with remotes. Also, the Sony remote may or may not properly communicate with the third party receiver.

Tony, here's the link to the "pass-thru less" remote control
