Is there a way to drive a bose lifestyle 50 from my pronto. I know RF is needed for Bose but is there an iterface or gadget that will convert IR pronto to RF bose!!!!!!

You might want to try some of the "better" audio / home theater stores. There is a converter that goes for RF to If but i am not sure what that brand is and if the make an IF or RF converter. I'm sure they have some sort of gadget out there, but i'm also sure it will run you some $.

No there is no gadget at this time. All IR to RF devices are proprietary or designed for satellite receivers, not the Bose system.
However, Paul there is hope! Call Bose. They have announced to dealers a converter that will be offered through Bose dealers and Bose factory stores. I do not know the timeline for this device.
