I see a lot of people saying that they had already programmed their pronto way prior to them actually getting their pronto using prontoedit. I went to download the prontoedit software and found i cannot beacuse i must first register a pronto (which of course i don't have yet). Can anybody tell me how to get prontoedit another way? (Maybe an email?)

I had not purchased a pronto yet but just typed in a string of numbers like 123456789 and the site took this as a serial number and I was able to download and start learning how to use prontoedit. You can also download the prontoedit user guide.

Jonathon, At www.prontoedit.com, in the upper right corner it says "Get the latest software and firmware". Clicking this will take you directly in to the download site, with no s/n. Lisa
