Anyone familiar with the infamous sony 50es crap remote knows about the only good feature on it.........the green button on top that shuts off all componets at once... if i purchased the pronto would there be any way to program one button to shut off all componets at the same time???
Thanks
Philip please email direct with answer and also post to board

Philip the answer is yes yes and yes! You can copy the exact Green Button properties, or you can make your own 'macro' to turn off whatever devices you prefer.
Besides, you'll be the only guy on the block with your name emblazened on your remote (heh heh, think about it people).

Why don't you go ahead and download the software and play with the pronto, that way you can see how the pronto works?!!? Don't forget to download the userguide also, or else you wont understand what exactly to do. On the Remote Central site go to the pronto and click on files then click on the red writing that says Download Software -and userguide. Any questions???? Call me at 1-800-835-3506 my name is Nicci.

I have the code for the whole system off already in my pronto . . . .works great!! I have the STRDE925 receiver, which is similar to the 50ES. The remote is a two way and has both green buttons. One for "component level" and one for "whole system" I have programmed both into the Pronto . . . . lemme know if you want the codes . . . - j

For 50ES users: Volker Buescher has uploaded a system CCF file which has codes for the 50ES... let us know if it works. :-)
