I want to know if the Pronto has variables. I would like it to remember the last station it was on and if the CH+ button gets to a certain point I want a macro enabled. Basically, what I want to do is switch between my cable box and my satellite box using the CH+/- button when I get to the last/first station on the device (cable or SAT). Any thoughts?

No, there's no automatic way to do something like that with the Pronto. That's getting too much into actual "programming", which can't be done on the Pronto. This is after all just a remote control! :-)

Hmmmmm. Well, If all you are doing is surfing, I suppose you could use a macro to go from channel to channel with some delay between commands. Set it up so that when it reads the last channel, it will go to the next device through a jump command.

How do I get it to "read the last channel"?
