The recharge/docking station comes with a NiMH battery.

Greg, sorry for the confusion, my question should have been addressed to Kurt Kelson. Kurt had a message in this thread that stated that he "bought the recharging station and the lithium battery set at the same time".

Just following up on how the recharge station is going. I've had it for 2 weeks now and the battery level is at 40% after heavy use. This is from the first initial charge.

I've had Pronto for 2 weeks, using the 4 AA batteries that came with it and still at 75%

As my batteries got down to 25% (after 3 months), I ponied up for the recharge station. The argument that convinced me was the one relating to cranking up the display and backlight times.

OK, I'm convinced I want the charging station.
What price can I expect to pay and where?
Thanks

I never liked the idea of the charging station but I have noticed that when my batteries get down to about 50% the Pronto's IR performance seems to diminish - It's making me think about the charging station again!

I agree with the positive posts on getting the charge station.

Even every 3 months for new batteries (which is very impressive on pronto's part) is just way too often for me.

Yes, I cranked all the delays up to Max too.

Great little parking spot for it.

It's icy on the cake.

Pop out batteries every time it needs a charge, yuck.

What battery level meter? :-)

P.S. It's not a Li-Ion battery, is an NiMH.
