I'm a new RC5000 owner and have just stared playing with a custom ccf file. I created a very basic panel for my Marantz AV550, checked the ircode db and could not find codes for the functions I wanted so I taught the remote the codes from my RC2000mkII. The 5000 indicated it learned the codes ok. When you upload to Setup V2.0 the RC5x codes are associated with the buttons but they do not work! The discrete ON & OFF buttons work ok but the code came from the default ccf for them. The 5000 learned codes for a Sony DVD player and they work just fine. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on here?

Don,
RC5extention codes do not learn very well. Have you been learning with the RC5000 connected to the PC? Try with the remote disconnected.
