1. So, does it look exactly like the European version?
2. Is that damn contrast wheel still in the same place?
This is barely a "new" model. I don't understand why the technology has to move so slowly - no color, no RF, no new software... UGH!

1. I imagine so, yes.
2. Since it's the same, yup.
3. This is Philips' version of the Marantz RC5000i: more memory. The pre-programmed database certainly is a step in the right direction. The "real" upgraded color Pronto probably won't be announced until CES 2001.
