I have a Sony receiver (STR-DA555ES) which comes with the Sony Remote Commander. I have successfully used it to teach the Pronto to "Switch the Source" to every needed device but one -- "Phono". During the learning process, the Pronto responds exactly as I want it to, first with the blinking "device" icon, then with the "Please Wait" message, and then with the "OK" icon. But when I look at the result with ProntoEdit, I don't find that anything was learned (and, of course, the Pronto in the USE mode does not turn on the receiver and switch to "Phono"). For every other device (viz., DVD, VCR, TV, Tape, CD, and Tuner), the learning process goes the same as I described, and the task gets learned.

I have retried this a dozen times -- it just won't learn the "Phono".

In case you are wondering, when I use the Sony Remote Commander and press on the "Phono" button, the task does get executed correctly.

Can anyone help, please?

I suggest downloading another similar CCF file and, in ProntoEdit, copying that code to your PHONO device. Or, if you already have the code somewhere else in your own file, just alias it from there to the device action list.
