As a very new user of my Pronto 3 days can you help.

How do you programme the function which is a slider on the remote not a button. It has 2 options set menu or paremter.

Any ideas ????

What exactly do you mean by "slider"? The Pronto can only have buttons. The key is a button can be any size. Some folks have done some interesting things because of that.

It's very simple. Set the slider to the 'parameter' setting then learn all the codes by pressing the arrow keys, then set the slider to the 'set menu' setting and learn the arrow keys again. All the slider does is to configure the Yamaha remote to send out different IR codes when the arrows are pressed.

You then have two sets of arrows on your pronto screen and no slider.
