I live on Long Island, and I have a remote control issue that you might be able to help me with.

I have been using a Marantz RC2000MkII remote control for over 2 years with my old TV. Since the TV had only one S-Video Input I did all video switching through my audio receiver (which was no problem for the remote).

Now that I have my new Sony TV (53HS10), I've got the S-Video outputs for two Satellite Receivers, one VCR, and the DVD player Component Video outputs connected to different TV inputs.

Since the Sony TV can only cycle through the Inputs with one button, I can't program even the simplest macro.

I have seen discrete IR codes for Sony TV Inputs at REMOTE CENTRAL in the Pronto code list area, but since my RC2000MkII doesn't have a computer interface, the only way I can see getting these discrete IR codes is to find someone with a Pronto that would be willing to download these codes, and let me "teach" them to my remote. I think this would work, and I'm not aware of any other solution.

So I guess I'm asking if you would be kind enough to let me stop by to load these few Sony TV codes into my remote. It wouldn't take more than 10 minutes, and you would be making a fellow HT enthusiast's day!

Thanks,

Bob
