I have a Sony XBR2 TV (KV-32XBR955). I cannot seem to get the Video 1,2,3 discrete codes to work, copied from the Sony discrete files area. The discrete Pwr On and Pwr Off codes DO work fine. I have pasted them into a button, that was initially "Learned", just to get something into the button, then copied and pasted the discrete code. I have done this several times, using PE every time. Any recommendations for next steps? I see several different approaches in the FAQ's and was hoping someone could help whittle down the choices. Thanks...Dave

That's a strange model number; what region is it for?

you can use channel +/- to return to ant input(if you use decoder loop which ant wont matter because they will mirror.After this discretes will be as follows;

sorry for the enter error
vid 1 - 1) channel+
2) tv/vid - once
vid 2 - 1) channel +
2) tv/vid - twice
vid 3 - 1) channel +
2) tv/vid - three times

This produces flashes which may annoy but might work.

Just do it

I recommend you throw it away and just use your normal remotes..It seems very stressful using the Pronto. At least when your normal remote doesnt work ...9 times out of 10 its the batteries

Daniel,

When you say region...I guess you mean where did I get it ? Bought it at the Good Guys in Northern California about 6 years ago. It has just been introduced about that time...Dave

Ah, six years ago. That could be why the inputs are not working. And probably explains why I don't recognize the model number. :-)

Daniel,

You think it is too old to accept the discrete Vid 1,2,3 codes?

Don't know. I really don't think age has to do with it -- just specific models. My 1986 14" TV responds to "VIDEO 1" and "TUNER", along with discrete power. But quite a few other more recent products are missing certain discrete codes. I assume all other "normal" TV codes from, say, another CCF work fine?
