what is the screen resolution for the pronto?
my designer is using 72dpi but is not sure this is ideal for the pronto. please email me thanks

It doesn't make any difference -- all that matters is raw pixels and how they look on the actual screen.

Just so long as your final bitmaps are smaller than the 240x219 pixels screen you're in business. It ignores the dpi setting if it's encoded within the file.

Try using PaintShop Pro for creating the final BMPs, because it "thinks" in raw pixels well. It also gives you the opportunity to create a Pronto colour pallete, so it's easy to convert existing files into something that the Pronto will recognise just by loading a different pallete up. It can also convert vector graphics quite well, so that you can draw your buttons in a more logical package beforehand.
