Hi,
Following my previous thread, I would like to know which firmware version will enable me to transfer B&O codes directly from my BEO4 to a RC 5000?

Anything from APP v4.85 onwards.

Your answer makes me think that he firmaware of both Pronto and RC5000 are the same.
Is it so?

Almost, but not quite. There was an earlier firmware release that could learn B&O codes, but it was never available for download. The next US release (v4.81) somehow missed that code which was not added until v4.85. As for Marantz versions, I think v4.84 might actually support it, but v4.85 certainly does, as does v5.00.
