I am trying to hide all panels in about four devices so they don't show up on my remote and they are still there no matter what. I have made sure that all panels are hidden on every device, and still nothing. Any ideas???

Thanks

Alan, if I understand your question correctly, you need to remove any active buttons on those panels by deleting any actions associated with that button.

Marking panels as hidden does not actually hide them. It just means that you cannot visit them via scrolling.

You can always create a blank panel as your first panel on any device, then just hide every other panel. This would cause every panel to be inaccessible unless the user is specifically sent there from another panel.

I am a little new at this, but can you keep an IR Code in there associated with the button and remove the action? I'm just trying to create an IR library of my own...

Thanks

A simple solution for this is that you place a (empty) frame over all the buttons in the panel. The buttons cannot be pressed this way, but are still accessible from other panels by creating aliases to them.

I appreciate that, but I don't want people to be able to access them while using the Pronto. You can still scroll down to the 'hidden' frames. Although blank now, they are still there causing confusion...

If _all_ panels under a device are hidden, then there won't be any scroll arrows, and panels won't be accessible.

I am in use mode, and all panels are hidden. Is there anything under properties for devices that I'm missing....

Let me get this straight
1) all your panels are hidden (you right clicked on them and put a check mark beside hidden)
2) you are in use mode (you press a button and something happens)
3) there are scroll arrows on the side of the screen on all screens
4) you are not talking of being able to change screens using other buttons (ones created by you are someone else).
5) you are not talking of being able to go to a device that has all panels marked as hidden
6) you are not talking of hitting the device panel button and being able to go to a hidden panel.

Correct. These panels (although hidden) are accessible by scrolling when using the Pronto, and I can use the buttons as if they were regular device panels...

but... if there are no scroll arrows... how are they "accessible by scrolling"???

There are scroll arrows. I can access the hidden panels as if they were actual panels. In addition to that, scroll arrows are also located from the device menu to these hidden panels. I never said that there weren't any scroll arrows, I meant that they were hidden according to the software.
