I have a problem with the docking station light blinking after a few minutes to an hour of charging! Also the pronto gets pretty warm. I have already called and exchanged my pronto and docking station with Phillip's, as per services advice, but still have problems. The battery pack still gets a charge until the light starts blinking. HELP!!!!

Steve, Is the unit brand new? I had the same problem with my docking station when it was brand new. The first couple of times I charged the batteries, the green light went off and a few minutes later it started blinking. The Pronto also got very warm (where the battery compartment is). From what I experienced and what other threads have indicated, this happens the first few times you charge the batteries. If the Pronto feels hot, try taking it off the docking station for an hour or so and try again.

Dom, The first unit was new, the one Phillip's sent me under warranty was rebuilt. Also sent me a new charger and battery. When you leave the unit on the charger the light will start blinking at anytime and not turn off like it is fully charged. The battery shows as being fully charged, but the light will not turn off and will eventually blink. The first unit I had worked right for about a month and then started this problem. Hope this may shed more light! thanks Steve

Generally, this also happens on brand new units for a week or two. Then it typically clears up.
