Hi, who can tell me how i can program the alphabetical codes from my MDS-JE330 into my RC5000 ?? Example: for "B' i have to push the '1' button twice. I tried using a ccf downloaded here from the MDS-JE550, and everything will work, except the alphabetical codes.
i guess all functions have their own hard ir codes, but how do i figure them out ?
Kind regards,
Patrick Weijters The Netherlands

The best way I can think of is to learn the 1 button, send it back once for A and twice with a delay in between for B etc...

Have you tried learning two presses of the "1" button?
Do you have a keyboard layout in your ccf? If not, you can find a good one in Dale Crawford's Panasonic ReplayTV ccf file.

Rob, you cannot learn two presses of a button.
Dava is correct. Learn the button once. Then create a new button with an alias to the learnt code, a short delay, then another alias.

Patrick, I have the MDS-JE330 and I whipped up a keyboard using parts of a ccf I downloaded from the files section. It has a button for every character used by the deck. It even has a working shift button. It really makes labeling faster. Let me know if you want it and I'll email you my current ccf.

Hai Aaron, Yes, i would very much appreciate it when you would mail me the ccf. Pls use the envelope on this header to mail me. I Tried to mail you that way, but you don't have leftan email adress... Otherwise, why don't you just upload the file MDS-JE330 to the sony section, i'm sure you could please alot of people with that.
Greeting, Patrick.
