I can't seem to learn codes from a sony str-de945 av receiver. This unit uses a two way remote, the rm-lj304. I don't care about the two way part but I do want to learn the codes from the remote to the receiver.
Does anyone have an idea concerning what may be wrong?

There's been a lot of pointers on this in the past... you can also download required codes from a "close model match" CCF.

Darryl,
I have a 945. My CCF with discrete power codes and codes for every indvidual sound field is posted here online under SONY codes for receivers. Give it a try.
