When I was programming the pronto, the mode button that lets you manualy learn, rename etc. at the bottom center of the pronto screen dissapeared

PLEASE HELP!

Enter the Proto setup by pushing and holding the "Remote" icon on the remote until the setup menu comes up. Scroll to page 2 and you'll see the mode icon and it will have an "X" through it, push it and the "X" will go away. Push the Remote icon again to exit the setup menu.

If you don't see the button RAG describes you need to double-click on SYSTEM PROPERTIES for your CCF file in ProntoEdit and unselect "Configuration Is Write Protected".
