Auto backlight activate on no-sensor models?

Hello,

Is there a setting to have the backlight always activate on the newer no-sensor models? Without the sensor, I cannot seem to adjust the threshold setting...

Not exactly sure what you're asking. Activate under what conditions? Under low light, no the sensor is gone. If you mean activate when you press the touchscreen, under setup on the remote, page 2, move the "level" all the way to the right. The backlight will come on (and stay on for the preset time) whenever you touch the screen.
