Hello everybody and thanks in advance to anyone who can help solve the problem. I have two Samsung VCR, and before I hot my Pronto I had to switch one of them off in order to use only the other as both share the same IR code set. Now that I got myself a Pronto, is there a way to use two distinct codesets for these devices? Thanks again.

Only if dual code sets exist for the VCRs you have. Generally, if such sets exist it would be mentioned in the VCR's manual. My old Hitachi VCR supports dual code sets, but all their newer ones do not.

Maybe you try changing the existing device code one up (with IRTools). JVC switches the vcr codeset by unplug the power, replug and then press a button on the remote.

I believe JVC locks onto the very first remote signal it sees after getting power. Other VCRs vary. My Hitachi requires a button combination on the unit; some have a switch on the back; others are done through menus. But generally this is a feature a company would advertise if it existed on a particular model.
